Fees are listed in US dollars. The payment on the registrants credit card will appear as Genetics Society of America on your statement.

An optional tour to Niagara Falls is planned for August 23rd. Registrants can indicate when they register if they are interested in attending the tour. The tour will be subsidized by the conference. Details regarding times and costs (if any) will be available by June 16, 2012.

Advance Registration and Payment Options
You may register for the meeting online with a credit card or by electronic transfer.
Online: Your registration receipt and confirmation will be automatically emailed to you after a successful submission. The Genetics Society of America accepts the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Electronic Transfer: International attendees may pay for their registration by electronic bank transfer. A completed registration form must be faxed or emailed to the GSA office with “Electronic Transfer” written on the top of the form. Registrants must tell the bank to include the name of the registrant on the bank notice that GSA receives so that the payment can be properly credited. Bank applied processing fees are the responsibility of the registrant. Please be sure to include money to cover any bank fees. To wire money to the Genetics Society of America:

Cancellations
A $50 handling fee will be charged for all early registration meeting cancellations. Cancellation requests must be sent to . No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after June 26, 2012. Cancelling your meeting registration does not cancel your housing. Please contact the university or hotel directly to cancel your housing.
Letters of Invitation
For security purposes, letters of invitation can only be sent to individuals that have registered for the meeting. After you have registered, you will be given a link to generate a letter of invitation.

Deadline for receipt of Financial Aid Applications is June 21, 2012.
The online financial aid application will be available May 1, 2012. Only individuals who would otherwise be unable to attend the meeting will be considered for these limited funds. Please make every effort to secure your own funding and leave the meeting funds to the needy. Presenting authors are given first priority when determining financial aid. Please describe your need in the online financial aid application. You are not guaranteed that you will receive the amount you ask for on the application. No more than three people from the same lab will be eligible for financial aid. Financial aid checks will be disbursed at the registration desk.
